    THOMPSON ANNOUNCES FILING OF CODE OF FAIR CAMPAIGN PRACTICES

    James A. Thompson, candidate for Mayor of Sugar Land, announced today that he has signed and filed the Code of Fair Campaign Practices with the City of Sugar Land, per the Texas Ethics Commission.  The Code is a signed pledge by candidates to run a fair and clean campaign, allowing the voting public to make their important decisions based on healthy competition and a vigorous discussion of the issues and candidate qualifications.

    THOMPSON ANNOUNCES RUN FOR SUGAR LAND MAYOR

    SUGAR LAND, TX - James A. Thompson, former Sugar Land At-Large Council Member, Position 1, has announced his decision to seek election as mayor of Sugar Land in the May 10, 2008, election.

    “I am in a position, both professionally and personally, to once again seek public office,” Thompson said.
